This TVS diode is fabricated in a proprietary siliconavalanche technology and is used for high level protectionof electronic equipment that may experience destructiveelectrostatic discharges (ESD). These robust TVS diodescan safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes at ±30kV (contactand air discharge, IEC 61000-4-2) without performancedegradation. Additionally, SP1124T offers up to 20A 8/20surge rating with low clamping voltages.
